A lot of the time with recruiters, you feel like you're being put somewhere because your hard skills fit, even if the culture doesn't. Simon really cares about making sure you get a culture fit too.

With Simon, if he sends me two CVs, I barely have to scan the CV; I know I'll want to interview them, and I'll end up hiring one if not both.

Given Simon doesn't write code himself, he does an astounding job at matching clients and candidates and I can't recommend Simon and his approach to recruitment enough.

Simon is a completely different kind of recruiter.

He takes time to get to know you, what you like and what you're looking for, rather than just asking for your CV and submitting it en masse to any company who lists a matching skill.

He also takes time to contact you personally, rather than relying on LinkedIn bots that send emails at 3 am saying they "came across your profile".

I had no need to leave my current role, but I wanted to do something that helped people, rather than just making the rich even richer.

Talking with him, he identified a role that I might find interesting and with a company who created software to help care home staff. He set up the interview and now I have a new job :-)
